The Village Hidden in the Stars has been a secret longer than any other village. It has been built around a sacred Willow Tree that has stood there for over thousands of years. They say the tree as mystical powers to be able to contact with the kings and queens of the stars.
The village has been recently found by fisherman and traders. They tell tails about the extraordinary land and it's riches.
Star Village is the second runner up to the Leaf village as one of the strongest societies. There last Hokage was names Shuo. A brave man who is still alive today. He likes to keep himself secluded from other but is still able to maintain the village structer.
No one really knows the true history of this stange village. Rumors have spread from village to village. Some say it's satans playground, others say it doesnt exist at all.
Due to recent Jenin exams at the Hidden Leaf Village, they have set out their strongest ninjas to go prove that they are real, not fake and willing. The decoration on their headbands is the shape of a star that represents rebelliousness and wisdom.
The Village Hidden in the Stars has now become allies with all villages. But they do get are rough spots with jealouse ninjas.

wouldn't it be hoshi-kage as in star-shadow...not ho-kage for fire-shadow?

The tree thing sounds very similar to the Hidden Waterfall Village.
